Milling : Contrary to standard machined enclosures, the EC enclosure includes all cut-outs and necessary millings based on your needs, executed in our in-house production plant: one unique contact, a time saver, an optimised and rapid work flow.

Nb of Drilling : (< = 5mm x 5mm) The drilling is a maching process to create a hole in a plastic piece. This hole can be used for a screw, a plug, a socket, a cable passage etc.
Nb of cutouts : (Per connectors) (> 5mm x 5mm) and < 40mm x 40mm) A cutout is created by a machining process, minimum size 5mm x 5mm and maximum size 40mm x 40mm, allowing the passage of a connector, button, divers cabeling or other usage.
Windows / openings 1 : (In mm) (> = 40mm x 40mm) A window is created by a machining process. Its size is superior to 40mm x 40mm allowing mainly to integrate a display or a touch screen. You have the option to add an acrylic window to protect the electronic component.	x

Recess 1 : (In mm) [For membrane keypad] A recess is the machining process that takes away part of the material without penetrating it with a defined debth. A recess allows to create a place holder for i.e. a membrane keyboard or a label.	x

Nb of loose parts : Loose parts are non glued mounting features for the internal equipment of the enclosure (i.e. seperation, blockage etc.)
Nb of Circuit board slot : Circuit board slots are grooves milled opposite on the internal sides into the plastic. You can slide your PCB in those grooves. The exact location and dimenions will be confirmed later by our construction office during the developement and programming of your custom designed enclosure.
Length of circuit board slot : Please indicate the length of the PCB groove / slot.

Nb inserts :

An insert is a part made out of brass with a thread (M2,5 - M3), implanted in a standoff or directly in the raw material, which then allows you to fix electronic components. Its use is preconised in the case of frequent mounting and dissassembling of a component. The exact location and dimenions will be confirmed later by our construction office during the developement and programming of your custom designed enclosure.

Nb Standoffs :

A standoff is a plastic spacer tube of different dimensions, used to fix your electronic components. Its use is recommanded in the case of frequent mounting and dissassembling of a component. The exact location and dimenions will be confirmed later by our construction office during the developement and programming of your custom designed enclosure.

Nb rubber feet : To stabilize or lift your device, you can add rubber feet. The exact location and dimenions will be confirmed later by our construction office during the developement and programming of your custom designed enclosure.
Nb tabs/rails/spacers : Those are glued parts inside your enclosure, to either hold electronic components, which cannot be mounted on standoffs or to devide, strengthen or stabilize your enclosure.

CEM Protection : The EMI protection (Electromagnetic Interference) or conductive shield paint, is a paint, based on nickel or copper. Its application creates a Faraday screen, to protect from electric or alternatively electromagnetic externities, and vice versa stops the device from polluting its environement. It also serves to the electric continuity.
Paint : The available raw materials are either black or white, but we do offer all solutions for all finishings and colour shades (Paint: all RAL "or corresponding Panton" prepared in our work shop. Finishing: satiné).

Nb Digital print : (1 pass per color and faces) Any marking is done in-house with our digital printers, allowing four-colour print. Marking of an enclosure has mainly 2 goals. Functional: Identifiation, Norms or Instructions. Aestetic: Corporate Identify of the device, embellishing or represensation of the use.
High Protection varnish : Clear strong protection varnish: For additional protection, we can apply high protection varnis (Finishing: satin)
